Does the software solution include all CPT and ICD-9 codes? A. Yes it does. And we provide free upgrades, as required. [Top] How long will it take for our employees to learn how to use Remedi? A. Remedi is a very intuitive and user friendly software designed by Physicians and software engineers. We provide free training for your employees. We provide easy to use lookup sheets in addition to user manuals. Plan for 2 days to get used to the new environment. [Top] Can the EMR be faster than dictation and handwritten chart? A. The Remedi EMR is designed with the busy physician in mind. Obviously there will be a learning curve but eventually from our experience physicians find it faster to use our EMR. The encounter process is not only recording observations it is also retrieving data hence the tool significantly shortens the documentation process. [Top] How does a physician use a Remedi EMR ? A. We recommend using a wireless laptop. The WiFi in the laptop exchanges data with the wireless router installed in your premises. The laptop can be a conventional one , Touch screen or a tablet PC. [Top] What is the user interface for a physician using Remedi EMR ? A. In a conventional laptop it will be the key board. With a touch screen a physician can tap on the screen with a pointer. In a Tablet pc in addition there will be handwriting recognition. We recommend a touch screen or a conventional laptop. [Top] Is the wireless network secure? A. The wireless networks are very secure. They can be secured by preventing unauthorized access to the network by using the right routers. [Top] Will ecognize help in establishing the hardware necessary? A.
