Can I use or access the system from home?

A. Absolutely. Remedi is accessible from any where as long as you have an Internet connection. Each user is assigned a userid and password with which they can log on to the system. The practice administrator can designate the users for remote access.

Is the data secure if used on the internet?

A. Very secure. All data transferred over the Internet is encrypted using 128-bit encryption. The encryption is the best available and being used in many other industries like Financial Services for transferring confidential information.

Can scheduling be centralized?

A. If a group practice or a hospital has multiple locations where care is provided, significant savings can be achieved by centralizing scheduling. It provides opportunities to centralize Patient appointment confirmations, handling past visit related questions from patients etc. It would translate to huge savings for your organization and would provide a better customer service.

Is the Software work flow based?

How do I use Remedi software: Internet? Intranet? Using Browser? Do I require special downloads? Is it secure? Will this work on Linux desktop?

A. Hosted solution customers are using Remedi over the Internet based on secure protocols such as https and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and HIPAA privacy compliant data transfers. All you require at your desktop is a web Browser. No downloads. You have the flexibility and choice of desktop operating system (Windows, Linux).

Is there difference in functionality between solo and group practice as well as hosted solution?

A. You get the same functionality in all these alternatives. The only difference between solo and group is the pricing model and hardware. Same applies to purchasing the software vs using our hosted solution.

Does the software solution include all CPT and ICD-9 codes?

A. Yes it does. And we provide free upgrades, as required.

How long will it take for our employees to learn how to use Remedi?

A. Remedi is a very intuitive and user friendly software designed by Physicians and software engineers. We provide free training for your employees. We provide easy to use lookup sheets in addition to user manuals. Plan for 2 days to get used to the new environment.

Do you help us transfer old data from our existing system to yours?

A. We can retrieve data from your existing system and input into ours. This data migration is handled by a team of experts who will interact with you every step of the way to achieve a smooth transition
